(11) something blue :: Tweaked my back something awful from running around the city yesterday carrying way too many bags. Called for a last minute appointment for a massage at Asha tonight. And thank goodness they had an opening and a pretty good massage therapist. He did all sorts of stretching and twisted me in every which way. I feel better, but this one might take a few days to work itself out. I guess it's time for more lower back exercises huh...

So ladies... here's my question for you.  Birthday suit or bikini for a massage?  I never know how far to go...

(10) childhood memory :: OK, am I the only one that thought this was next to impossible? I have a zillion childhood memories, most of which I cannot think how to photograph now ... It did get me digging into the memory archives and I decided to go with my first memory. Apparently I was four, it was June 18, 1977 and Elvis was on stage at Kansas City's Kemper Arena. My mother, a huge Elvis fan, went to see him and left me at home with my father for the night. I don't remember a whole lot, but I remember that he fixed me a TV dinner, likely my first. It was just two months later that Elivs died and I remember my mother was sad.

Why on earth would this be my oldest memory? Who the heck knows ... but Elvis was always in the house. I remember my parents had a HUGE record collection (that they later sold and bought a truck!), and tons of Elvis memorabilia. He was damn good lookin' in his younger years ... pre rhinestone jumpsuit era. *wink*

(8) a bad habit :: Yeah, so ... I'm really bad about wearing my glasses. I squint at the computer screen more and more everyday, but somehow that does not make me reach into my bag to grab for my glasses. It's ridiculous. I even purchased brand new glasses that are titanium and so light that I barely feel them on my face ... and still no. Bad. Bad. Bad!

Every now and then I spy a Groupon that I feel is worth purchasing, I am not one of those people that goes totally overboard to get a deal. I tend to purchase experience type of things - chocolate and pasta making classes, photobooks and etc. Today I was supposed to be at a photography class that I purchased and it's been raining since the moment I got up. There was not a whole lot of information about the class on the website - just what you should know (iso, wb, metering...), what to bring and where to meet. The confirmation did note that the class 'could' be cancelled due to weather, but I had no correspondence today at all. I called and texted the instructor and emailed the Chimpsy site where the class is scheduled, but got no answer or call back. I'm a little disappointed about that. About an hour before the class, I went back to the website where I booked and "cancelled" the class, but they only have two more available - neither of which I can make. What to do now? I may just be out some $$. booooooooooo

(7) fruit :: "how about them apples?" I gotta be honest, this is the only fruit in my house. I'm a SUPER picky eater and do not like many fruits and just don't keep them in the house. They go bad before I eat them, so I buy and eat same day only.  However, I've got all sorts of these silver apples around the house... *wink*

(3) clouds :: Since I'm catching up, and it was rainy today, I will post clouds from Monday.  This is the view from my current client's office.  Horrible isn't it?

I got a photo in an iPhone App!

So a few months back I was contacted by someone developing an iPhone app about the Milwaukee Art Museum.  They had found some of my photos on Flickr and wanted to know if they could use one in their app.  Of course I said yes and the app was released today!  It's a lovely little app about the beautiful Calatrava building.  It's free - go download it and check out an amazing piece of architecture!  You can even make the wings flap!

(2) what you wore :: Missoni, of course!  Apparently I was one of the lucky ones to score a Missoni for Target item ... only got a few and sadly missed out on the throw that I wanted... but these are super cute no?
