A day out and about in St. Louis. Breakfast with Jen & Gary @ City Diner. A full tour of Gary's Stray Dog Theater. It is so lovely, an old church with beautiful stained glass. The botanic garden and shopping in Kirkwood. All topped off with dinner @ Pi. Yum.

What an amazing Sunday. Brunch at a cute little creperie in Clayton, wandered thru the city Museum (that place is crazy!), a quick stop at the arch, then it was game time! And my Kansas Jayhawks beat those North Carolina Tar Heels! Life could not be sweeter…

It was the most beautiful day in Chicago today. 85° and sunny. My coworkers I have started a tradition where we go have gelato in the park in the Spring and in the Fall... just for a little weather check. This time last year there was snow on the ground…

Spent St. Patty's Day on Southport. Had brunch with the girls at the new Deleece and took in the atmosphere of the holiday as we shopped and everyone else drank themselves into leprechaun stupor. I even sported green - I never wear this much color - and was the only one! Selika in orange, Simone in yellow and Crister in black! Sadly I did not get photos of Simone and Crister, but will be sure to do that next time we get together!! I love Chicago on St. Patty's day - I love that most everyone is sporting some shade of green. Doesn't matter if they are decked out to party it up or if they are just out walking the dog.

This is Phoebe's favorite spot while I'm baking. I got home from work tonight and 9:00 and had to bake cupcakes for my coworkers birthday tomorrow. I whipped up a batch of chocolate chip oatmeal cupcakes with cinnamon sugared chip frosting (a recipe I found on Pintrest!) sound delicious or what?
