It is so hard to get a good smile out of a kid. They have jacked up teeth and want to give you this cheeeeeeeeezy face when you ask them to smile. I want to catch them in their natural state so I make them dance. Then I catch 'em off guard. Ha! Gotcha bella girl! Wouldn't you just love to have that red hair? Georg!!
Took a drive to Indiana today for a little photoshoot with Sloane. She's one whole month old ... still so damn hard to get cute shots of newbies. Giant props to newborn photographers out there! She's got beautiful blue eyes just like her sister but we're still unsure of the hair color. Her eyelashes and brows are blonde for sure...
She was a pretty good subject, but I had to catch the angry face. It's a good one don't you think?
Oh and whipped up a batch of crepes today and attempted to recreate the coconut and macadamia nut delight I had in Hawaii. Mine wasn't quite the same, but good none the less.

My tieks arrived today ... been looking at these for a while. They seem to be all the rage amont the Hollywood types in terms of ballet flats. I saw a deal for % off and decided to take the plunge. They are a super cute package - who doesn't love a blue box? Am I right girls? Anyhoo... tried them on and they are comfortable because they have some cushion on the bottom (rare) but there is so little fabric that comes up and over the foot I feel like they are going to fall off my feet when I walk. And I have major toe cleve... not sure I'm in love with these and am so disappointed about that.

I was @ the Mount Prospect Public Library today for work and they had the cutest little themed area all set up like a Veterinary office. They had little bins set up to hold dogs, cats, and other animals - including dinosaurs. Too cute to watch the little kids put flet bandaids on their pets. They didn't do fun things like this when I was a kid...

FINALLY got our corporate holiday gifts out on the streets and starting to get some funny feedback. Yes, we sent a metal ornament / paperweight / desk bling that says OShit with the card greeting reading "Waht a Year!" It has really been that kind of year. Plus it's the greeting as you enter our office - such a sick sense of humor.
