Another day of photoshoots, and fabulous views of my beautiful city. Oh how I love the concrete jungle. And all access tours of amazing spaces! I have been completely spoiled and I just cannot thank all of the wonderful folks who made it all possible!

Spent the day with "the Tim Forcade" (of Forcade Assoc) photographing some of our projects in the city and 'burbs. Snapped a few while waiting on the LaSalle St bridge. Damn, I love this city!!!

Hit Retro on Roscoe today to see one of my favorite local bands, Underwater People - they've been off the circuit for a while, added some new members and sound great. As for the rest of the street fest... horrible. They used to have great artists and this year it was only fried food and kid zones. Bummer!

150 MCA KUAA day
Attended a KU Alumni Association event at the Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday. We had an artist (from Pilsen) take us around to certain works of art and give her interpretation of it's meaning, which I found to be a great change compared to a docent. She was really good with our small, but diverse group of people. The museum was completely full and the exhibits right now are superb. I thought the Skyscraper rooms were particularly good! A really powerful display around 9.11. Thanks to the KUAA for putting this even together - it was so great meeting Teri and Nikki, both in from Lawrence.

Long frustrating day today. Finally gave in and went back to acupuncture. AND I feel a thousand time better and much more relaxed. Why did I take such a long hiatus? Listening to Loane on Spotify and dreaming of beautiful people and foreign lands.

There's this crazy restaurant here in e-town called Prairie Joes and they always have the craziest stuff. Found this gem while walking by today. Huh??

So, I have lived down the street from this Episcopal Church for six years now and have never gone in. How ridiculous is that? So while I was on a walk, I decided to peek in the front doors and this is what I saw… um, beautiful. Looks like it could be in some old European city.
