Mom was showing me all of the vintage treasures she found while cleaning out her mother's house. Amazing and delicate little dresses, fabric, photos and a couple of cameras. She even found the flash to the Brownie grandma gave me a few years back!
And... How cool is this fabric? Gotta be 30 years old or more and totally in style!

Glorious to view indeed.
Spent longer in Manhattan than I had planned, just couldn't leave those Magees! But, I did manage to roll into town before the Union closed to stock up on some KU swag (one can never have enough), and snap a few photos of campus.

Hiked up to the top of the Konza to find the most beautiful view of the Flint Hills. It's a really nice hike, and totally worth it. I'm so glad I was able to talk Bethany into it! She's a pretty good travel friend!
Oh, and we even ran into a couple that just got engaged, at sunset. How cute is that?

Had a fabulous, impromptu Sunday of fun. Brunch with the Robinson's and then checking out their new pad (looking great btw). Then I was off to the mall with Amanda, where I ended up getting more than she did (I need shoppers anonymous). And finished it off with a soothing massage. Oh, and that sunset didn't hurt either. Hope yours was fab too!
226 test drive
The lease is coming due on my Infiniti, so I've been visiting dealerships over the last month or so. Left the best for last. I've got this one home with me for a weekend test drive. It's pretty damn nice!
Had to see if I could fit into our make-shift parking space at the office. It's doable, but wicked tight. Will take a lot of practice to make this work everyday.
